How to lose belly fat

We can all agree on this, belly fat is the hardest type of fat to lose. When your losing weight, belly fat is usually the last to go. There is a reason for this. Your body likes to store fat in that region in case your ever famished or hungry. Storing fat is a natural survival mechanism. Our genes are hardwired to store fat through millions of years of evolution. Belly fat is there to keep you alive incase of a food shortage. Well that’s great if your starving to death but in today’s age with food in such abundance it’s no longer necessary to carry around unsightly belly fat.
I am going to give you some helpful tips to lose that stubborn belly fat for good. To begin with your going to have to get down to about 10 to 14 percent body fat in order to see your abs and have a 6 pack. So, for starters if you haven’t already done it get yourself a proper body fat scale. You can get one right on amazon. I recommend the renpho body fat scale, its cheap and extremely accurate plus it links up with your smart phone so you can track your progress. Remember what gets measured gets done, so don’t skip this step. It’s very important to have a bodyfat scale if your trying to lose bellyfat. You have to track your bodyfat so you know where your at and where your going.
Next you need to be exercising at least 4-5 days per week, rotating cardio and weight training exercises into your routine if you want to get down to 10 to 14 percent body fat and see your abs. You also want to be performing ab exercises regularly, at least 3 times per week. I recommend p90x for this, there ab ripper x cd is top notch, one of the best ab workouts ever put on video. You can get it on beachbody.com. It is important to do ab exercises because that will help increase blood flow to your abdomen. You see blood flow to the the stomach area is naturally lower than the rest of the body so when you exercise your abs regularly that increases blood flow to that specific area and will help you burn more belly fat.
Next step is to work on your diet. In order to burn belly fat you need to be in a caloric deficit for a long enough time period. Remember what I said, belly fat is usually the last to go so you have to be consistent with your diet and exercise for a long enough time period in order to see the results you want.
Here is a few tips you can follow with your diet to see your abs faster. First of all you need to track your calories. Counting calories works, period. By counting you know where your at and when to stop eating. Take the guess work out of the equation and count your calories everyday. Nowadays it is easier then ever to do with a calorie counter app on your cell phone. Next you need to eat more vegetables. Vegetables are high in nutrients which shut down primal hunger. If you are hungry all time and overeating it’s probably because your not eating enough vegetables. So go green and eat a vegetable with every meal.
And finally go low carb. Studies have shown that low carb diets like the keto diet burn 3 times as much fat. You see sugar and carbohydrates spike your insulin levels and make you feel hungry all the time, this in turn makes you overeat, and it just becomes a vicious cycle, so go low carb if you want to lose belly fat.
I also recommend you take a supplement to lose belly fat. This is really helpful. I take lean belly 3x. This supplement is all natural and is specifically formulated to burn subcutaneous belly fat. I have been taking it for over 2 years now and have seen awesome results.
